Awesome Amazon Finds!

My wonderful husband was blessed unknowingly with a $50 gift card to Amazon.com. In turn he blesses ME with it. He is so sweet. Anywho, prior to me receiving the gift card, I was already looking around on the site trying to get the best value for Jamaican Black Castor Oil. I have been able to get it locally here in Tampa Bay but I would pay $10 for a 4oz bottle. As I looked online I could pay the same amount but get an 8oz bottle. You do the math. Granted then there would be shipping/handling costs too. So, turns out Amazon does offer free shipping on various items when you purchase $25 worth of products. After I plugged in the gift card I loaded my shopping cart with Sunny Isle JBCO, The 17 Day Diet and Coastal Scents GO Palette-Cairo.  I recieved free-shipping on 3 items and I still have money left on the gift card for future purchases.

I had recently borrowed my neighbor's book on The 17 Day Diet (my diet journey update coming soon) so given that I really enjoy the book, I purchased it. It is a great book for those who are looking to eat better and have an over all healthier lifestyle. It's easy to follow as well as easy to read. If the diet recommendations are followed diligently you WILL see results. You just have to be determined and have will power to stay focused.

I received a lovely makeup case for Christmas so you know I have to fill it up. I have become an enthusist for eye shadow! The Coastal Scents Go Palette-Cairo has some awesome colors. It's referred to as go pallet since all 12 colors are about the size of a dime and the container is compact.  I do not use makeup too often so it is big enough for me. Coastal Scents original size eyeshadows are about the size of a quarter I believe. I have not used it yet but I can hardly wait to try the smokey eye look with it. If anyone has any tips on how to create the smokey eye look, please let me know.

Last but far from the least, the Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil. As I said before, I have been using a 4oz bottle of  jbco that I picked up locally at the beauty supply store but that is not enough for me plus my teen daughter to use. I faithfully oil my scalp with it 3x a week. I am not sure how often my daughter oils her scalp but still 4oz is not enough for TWO hair journeys. I just received the jbco today but I will not open it just yet since I still have some left in my container. I have really seen my hair turn around in thickness and in health since I been using jbco. When I first used it, my head itched like crazy but I was determined to use it. I had also started using Gro-Aut Oil but that made me break out in a mild rash (I'm so sensitive right?). So what I ended up doing is mixing jbco, gro-aut and clear castor oil together. Problem solved! The regular castor oil helped tone the other two oils but my hair is still getting thicker and my hair still grows no less that 1+ inch a month! GOD IS GOOD!

If anyone has in fabulous Amazon finds, please let me know. I have another gift card coming soon. Be blessed! :o)
